ANIMALIA OPENED FOR THE 11th TIME

The 11th International Trade Fair for Livestock & Cattle Breeding Technologies ANIMALIA ISTANBUL 2014 was opened by Mr. Ahmet Suloğlu Deputy Director of Istanbul Food, Agriculture and Livestock Office, Mr. Ahmet Ertürk Chairman of HAYKOOP, Dr. Can Demir General Manager of Food and Hygiene Academy and Mr. Bekir Çakıcı General Manager of HKF Trade Fairs. The show hosted leading local and international brands operating in the livestock industry for four days.

Being the only international trade fair organized in Istanbul exclusively for the livestock industry ANIMALIA ISTANBUL had the honor of having been uninterruptedly organized since 2003. In addition to Turkish exhibitors, international exhibitors ranging from China to Germany took place at the show which started on February 20th in Istanbul Expo Center with the organization of HKF Trade Fairs.

Besides being an international trade show ANIMALIA ISTANBUL functions as a platform where sectoral issues are handled in depth at the seminars held during the show. As in the previous years, sector related topics were discussed by the professionals at this year’s ANIMALIA ISTANBUL show. On the first day Lalahan Livestock Central Reseach Institute held a seminar with the title of ‘Applications of Embryo Transfer in Turkey and Its Related Technologies’. On the second day ‘Embryo Production and Transfer on High Milk Production of Saanen Goats by Biotechnological Methods’ seminar by Istanbul University Veterinary Faculty Dairy Physician Club and also ‘Drug Use in Beekeeping: Varroasis’ seminar by Istanbul University Veterinary Faculty Beekeeping Club were held. On February 22nd traditional panel of HKF Trade Fairs was held. The title of the panel was ‘How to Make Money from Livestock Sustainably’.

The next edition of ANIMALIA ISTANBUL is going to be held on 5-8 February 2015. It gives us a great pleasure to invite you to the 12th edition of this event.
